Over a still, quiet field of vibrant bluebonnets, the clouds of a perfect evening moved from pink to orange to blue as the sun set in the west over the distant Hill Country of Texas. This landscape near San Saba was a product of a wet spring on a cool April evening. The paintbrush of colors in the sky did not last long, but the memories of the beautiful scene still linger, and I hope to one day have the opportunity to photograph such a place.
